11 Tips for Epic Character Meet and Greets At Disney World Resort

8. Prepare Kids

We tend to assume that kids will adore meeting their favorite characters. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. Sometimes seeing cartoon characters up close and personal is overwhelming for little ones.

Preparing your kids by talking through what's going to happen, doing formal introductions, and first approaching the character yourself can help make them more comfortable.

7. Schedule a Character Meal

If you value your time but still really want to see a lot of characters, you might find it beneficial to schedule a character meal or two during your stay.

Character meals allow you to see a large number of characters in a relatively short amount of time without waiting in a single line. This is especially nice for families with young children who might have a hard time waiting in line.
