11 Things You’ll Love Doing at Disney’s Epcot Area Resorts

6. Enjoy a character meal

There are several places you can enjoy a character meal in the Epcot resort area. Cape May Cafe in the Beach club offers a beach-themed meal for breakfast and brunch, with characters dressed in turn-of-the-century swim attire. It is a lot of fun, and breakfast is a great buffet. If you want to try a character meal for dinner without quite as much competition for reservations, head over to the Swan and visit Garden Grove. Classic Disney characters show up each night there, as well as for breakfast on weekends.

5. Ride a bike around the Epcot area

Over on the Boardwalk, you can rent a bike or a surrey by the half hour or hour. This is a fun way to sightsee a little bit in this area! You can ride them leisurely around the Boardwalk area or take a little longer trek over to the Yacht and Beach Clubs. The surreys are a fun way to spend time with your whole family; everyone has to do their part to make it move!

4. Visit the Swan and Dolphin

Many people overlook the Swan and Dolphin because they aren’t technically Disney resorts. However, they are right in the middle of the Magic and have a lot to offer! Beautiful lobbies, great dining options (17 restaurants and lounges between them!) and even character meals make the Swan and Dolphin a great place to spend the afternoon. You can walk to them from the Boardwalk, or catch a boat headed that way at certain time of the year.
