11 Fabulous Things to Do At Hollywood Studios When It's Raining

Hollywood Tower Of Terror

6. Watch Ariel’s Story

Across the way from “Disney Junior – Live on Stage!” you'll find “Voyage of the Little Mermaid”. The waiting area for this show is indoors, though it does occasionally overflow outside into a covered area on very crowded days. This is another indoor show, and though the special effects may leave you a bit damp, you'll stay fairly dry while enjoying a nice little performance.

5. Hop on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Thrill seekers may be wondering if there's anything for them when the rain starts to come down on their Hollywood Studios day. Luckily, the answer is yes.

Our favorite indoor thrill ride is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. This twisting and turning coaster is an absolute blast to ride, and the matching Aerosmith soundtrack makes it even more thrilling.

4. Ride Tower of Terror (and Snap a Photo)

Another great indoor thrill ride is Tower of Terror. While part of the queue is outdoors, you should stay dry enough with a poncho until you can make your way to the indoor portion. You'll stay plenty dry while on the ride, and the elevator doors opening to a wet world makes the ride even more terrifying.

Before you walk away from Tower of Terror you may also want to snap a photo or two. This attraction looks great under a gray sky, meaning a rainy day provides the perfect photo opportunity.
