Disney resorts are categorized by price and amenities. There are five value resorts, four moderate resorts and about a dozen deluxe resorts. As you can imagine, the more you pay, the nicer and larger your room will be and the more amenities you will have at your disposal. Disney World hotel prices are usually higher than offsite hotels, but keep in mind that you are getting the exceptional product and customer service Disney is famous for. Disney also offers a campground with hookups for travel vehicles and also cabins. Current and retired military can stay at Shades of Green resort which is actually owned by the US government. Price is based on military rank.
