8. If Character Meets Are Important to You, Research Them

A common misconception among my non-Disney going friends is that characters are wandering the park meeting guests.  This is not true, character meets happen periodically in each park and are listed on guide maps and schedule time guides.  Know that if seeing characters is a priority for your family you should snag fast passes for the character meets that offer them and you should plan on what time you are going to meet each character around the park to ensure you see your top choices.

7. Prices Vary By Time of Year You Visit

Did you know that ticket and hotel prices vary by the time of year you visit Walt Disney World?  Know that you will save money visiting outside peak travel seasons like July and December.  Even some of the restaurants on the property charge a few dollars less during times of the year that have lower crowds.
