7. Customize your MagicBands
If you and your family are going to be staying at a Disney resort hotel, you will be sent a link via e-mail to customize your family’s MagicBands. Click the link, and you’ll be taken to the web page where you can choose a color of MagicBand for each family member, and you’ll also be able to add a name to the inside of each MagicBand. Those MagicBands will be linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you aren’t staying on Disney property, you can still purchase MagicBands at www.disneystore.com, and you can link them to your Disney account via the My Disney Experience app or online at www.mydisneyexperience.com. MagicBands take the place of your park ticket, and they also have information stored on them about your FastPass+ selections. They also serve as a key to your Disney resort hotel room.
