8. The Big Touches
The floating mountains of Pandora are visible from outside Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and they are even more impressive up close. Disney really captured the iconic landscape of the film when designing Pandora’s Valley of Mo’ara, from the unique plant life to the structures to the aforementioned floating mountains – complete with waterfalls cascading into pools. What was considered a nearly impossible task when the land was being developed has become one of the park’s greatest and most iconic triumphs.
