9. The Theming
Disney being Disney, you knew that they wouldn’t just throw up some rides and eateries and then call it a day. Each part of Pandora has an elaborate backstory that helps tie everything together. Alpha Centauri Expeditions, or ACE, is the name of the eco-tour company that began offering visits to Pandora for its human guests. The Satu’li Canteen was once the main RDA (Resources Development Administration) mess hall that has been transformed into a tourist eatery. Pongu Pongu is a lounge started by a former RDA employee who fell in love with Pandora and wanted to provide a place for tourists and locals to gather. The seamless theming gives this area depth and character.
