2. Next-Generation Technology
While all WDW fans have a soft-spot for the jerky movements of classic animatronics, most can agree that even Pirates of the Caribbean is slightly… dated. However; in this new attraction, all of the characters are powered by electricity (as opposed to hydraulics). This has caused the movement of the figures to be more lifelike and fluid than ever before. (Personally, my jaw dropped when I saw Olaf skating with realistic ease.) It is like stepping into the film.
