4. Weather
Florida’s weather is very unpredictable. It can be sunny and hot one minute, and raining “cats and dogs” the next. Afternoon thundershowers are likely, but you never know if they will last a while or a few minutes. I know there are times when it began pouring, so we bought ponchos for everyone, and by the time we were all covered, the rain stopped. Florida’s rain showers can come and go very quickly or can last all day. During the hot summer months, the heat and humidity can become unbearable and cause tempers to flare. It’s wise to take a break during the hottest part of the day and chill out at your Resort pool. If a Hurricane is on the way, Disney World theme parks may have to close, and you will be confined to your Resort Hotel until the storm has passed.
