10. What is a “cast member”?
Now that you’re here you’ve probably heard the term “cast member” mentioned quite a bit already, but what does it mean exactly? Simply put, a “cast member” is any Disney employee. This may include an individual who works at a Disney park, Disney affiliated resort, cruise line, or even a Disney Store location. Unlike other theme parks that sometimes fall short on having their share of helpful approachable employees, you’ll find Disney cast members at almost every turn, ready to greet you with a warm and friendly smile and help you out in any way they can.
