5. Your kids won’t be as cheerful as the kids on the Disney World commercials every minute of your trip.
And that’s ok. They will be super excited—make no mistake about that. But they will get tired just like they do at home, and they will get hungry and thirsty and fussy and weepy—just like they do at home. Remind yourself that your children are still your children—they’re just in a different setting. Be sure to take time for them to rest and recharge (you’ll need the same), and you can lessen your chances of that fussiness manifesting itself into a full-blown meltdown.
