4. Festival of Fantasy Parade
Whether you like parades or not, the Festival of Fantasy parade is going to benefit your day at the Magic Kingdom. This parade is widely popular and draws quite the crowd. In fact, getting around the crowds and the park can be difficult especially if you are in Frontierland or on Main St USA. That being said Frontierland is the place to be during this period for two reasons. First, this is the best place to be if you’d like to view the parade. Rather than sitting around on Main Street till the parade makes it to you, watch the parade right where it starts and beat the crowds still watching. Second, most rides around the park will see a significant decrease in wait times during the parade; so if you aren’t a parade fan, now is the time to wait in lines rather than use FastPass+ reservations. Being in Frontierland during the parade may limit your movement to some degree, but at least you’ll be close to Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, three major rides which will likely have lower wait times.
