10. Plan Ahead and EARLY!

Creating a solid game plan well ahead of time will ensure that you accomplish everything on your to do list and will assist in eliminating gaps in your schedule. Select the right day for the right park. If you have the option, select a day where Disney offers extra magic hours in the morning or evening for guests staying at a Disney resort and get there as early as possible. At rope drop, head straight for your top priority rides; whether it's because they will have long waits later in the day or because they are simply your favorite, these are the rides you want to hit first. Plan your FastPass+ reservations in the afternoon when lines across the park are at their longest. Keep in mind that Disney resort hotel guests can make their FastPass+ plans three months in advance while those staying offsite can reserve fastpasses 30 days in advance.  Regardless of how early you plan, check in from time-to-time to see if that highly desired fastpass just became available.
