Did you know Walt Disney World makes a conscious effort to take care of our planet by recycling, composting and reducing energy usage among many other environmentally friendly initiatives? According to the Walt Disney World Corporation website, each Disney park location strives to be as environmentally conscious as possible. Disneyland Resort was even awarded The Governor’s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award in 2015 to honor their efforts in conservation and environmental protection.
