7. Dining Convenience
The Disney Dining Plan is a popular feature that enables guests to pay for most of their food and beverages ahead of time. There is a slight catch though. Only guests staying in a WDW resort hotel can book this package. Again, many guests stand behind the plan due to its convenience and ease of use when traveling in a large group. Additionally, each hotel is equipped with a diverse food court for those that have late night munchies after a long park day. As with all things, Disney takes care of their guest needs.
6. Priority FastPass+ Reservations
Here is yet another reason to book that Disney hotel! All guests need to make FastPass+ reservations in advance, so they can be guaranteed a shorter wait for their favorite attractions, character meet and greets, and shows. Staying on property will give you a distinct advantage, as on-property guests can make these selections 60 days in advance. (All other visitors can only make them 30 days prior.) Honestly, this can be the deciding factor when it comes to snagging that Flight of Passage or Toy Story Midway Mania pass!
5. Extra Magic Hours
Speaking of attractions, staying in a WDW hotel is the only way you can obtain access to something wonderful called Extra Magic Hours. Each day, a select park opens a couple of hours early or stays open for an hour or two past park closing. Since this is limited to on-property guests that means that there are shorter lines everywhere! This certainly comes in handy when you can’t obtain an especially elusive FastPass+. In this case, both the early birds and night owls catch the worm!
