When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel on Disney property, you are very close to all the magic. Some resorts are within walking distance of the parks, including the Contemporary Resort near Magic Kingdom and the Yacht Club Resort, Beach Club Resort and Boardwalk Inn near EPCOT.
