Myth 6. Spaceship Earth is the Largest Thing in Epcot
While the geodesic dome that makes up Spaceship Earth is the largest free-standing sphere in the world—clocking in at 18 stories high and 165 feet in diameter—it is not actually the largest thing in Epcot. That honor goes to the Caribbean Coral Reef Aquarium located inside The Seas building.
In fact, this 5.7-million-gallon tank is so large in diameter (203 feet), you could fit Spaceship Earth inside it with room to spare!
