As you can imagine, keeping the park looking pristine is no small task. Painting crews descend upon the parks each night so that they don’t disturb guests during the day. Sources say that it takes an entire year to complete the painting of Disney World; then painters simply start over again. (You never see paint peeling at Disney, right?) Additional crews are assigned to maintain other parts of the parks too. For instance, some cast members are tasked with maintaining the “health” of the animatronics. They spend their nights observing the movements of all the characters and making adjustments as needed.
