7. Dead Head
Truth is indeed stranger than fiction, and any Disney fan worth their salt will tell you about the little secret hiding in Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean. What sounds like a complete urban legend has actually been confirmed by the cast members themselves, the presence of an actual human skull in the ride. The skull seen perched on the bones of a dead buccaneer, this skull was donated by the Medical Unit at UCLA, adding a touch of realism amongst the fantastic elements. Perhaps not as exciting as a full skeleton, but still the presence of the skull serves as a little wink to the audience, an Easter egg for those extra attentive Disney fans that happen to sail the seven seas.
