A step up from the Value Resorts, Moderate Resorts are what the average family will choose when picking a Disney hotel option. The rooms and beds in these hotels are slightly bigger, and the main pools include slides. The prices are a bit higher than the prices at Value Resorts, but still manageable.

1. Port Orleans - Riverside

Let's begin with the sprawling and lovely Port Orleans - Riverside. This resort offers a variety of interesting amenities, such as bike rentals and entertainment. In fact, we'd go so far as to say it almost feels like a Deluxe Resort at Moderate prices. Fans love the romantic feel of this hotel, and many use it as an affordable romantic getaway option.

2. Port Orleans - French Quarter

Not far from Riverside, you'll find Port Orleans - French Quarter. This resort has a more fun and colorful vibe, and is nice in that it is quite compact, so getting from one place to the next is a cinch. The food at this resort is also quite good, meaning you can have an excellent meal without wandering far at all.
