3. Splash Mountain (Frontierland)
The classic Disney feature length film, “Song of the South” was the inspiration for this exciting log flume ride. Climb into a hollowed-out log and get ready for a fun-filled, thrilling ride with several small drops, and one extreme 5-story drop toward the end of your trip. Along the way you will enjoy the antics and lifestyles of Br’er Rabbit, Br’er Bear, Br’er Fox, and many other animated characters, including geese, raccoons, possums, bees, and alligators. The audio animatronic critters are delightful, and the music makes you want to sing along and clap your hands. Be forewarned, however, the drop at the end is very intense, and my not be suitable for some children. There is a height restriction, and fast passes are available.
