The weather in Central Florida may be somewhat unpredictable, but there’s one thing you can count on for more than half the year—it’s gonna be HOT! From March through October, you’re looking at temperatures regularly in the 80’s, with the heat index in the summer months soaring well above 100 degrees. Don’t let the heat discourage you on your Magic Kingdom day, though. There are plenty of places to cool off and refresh yourself to make the most of every magical moment. Scatter these places into your itinerary for optimal temperature regulation.

Before we jump into our top 10 list of places to cool off here's a list of things to keep in mind while enjoying Magic Kingdom on a hot day:

1. Seek out the shade for parades and street performances 2. Walk through the Emporium instead of outside along Main St. USA. 3. Save a wet ride for the afternoon 4. Save indoor rides and entertainments for the afternoon 5. Choose ride queue's that have shade or better yet, have indoor waiting space 6. Keep hydrated 7. You can also invest in a battery operated portable fan. Many people clip them onto their kids' strollers to keep the little ones from getting cranky.
